Artist's Description
This is Hawk Creek Campground. Just behind me is Hawk Creek Falls. During the ice age, this entire area was under blocks of ice. Today, this small stream leads to Lake Roosevelt. Lake Roosevelt is approximately 152 miles long and is actually a part of the Columbia River which extends in to Canada.
The water is released just prior to spring in through dams so that the Canadian snow melt can fill up Lake Roosevelt again. This process allows for controlled water levels and no flooding. By about June this will be more like a lake then a small trickle of a stream.
If you enjoy landscape or nature photographs this one is truly a stunning image and would bring calm and joy to your life as you view it in your own space. Please enjoy.
This is a limited edition photographic art piece. I will only sell 5 and then retire the image. The sizes and investment prices are listed.
Thank you for helping me add Stunning Photographic Art to your spaces.

About Spencer McDonald
I am a resident of Snohomish, Washington. Have lived in Washington and Snohomish County since 1989. I am a transplant from Southern California. My wife and I raised 3 children here in Washington State. The kids are grown and on their own now... we are left with 2 cats (1 crazy and 1 fat). Recently retired from Corporate America. My Fine Art Photography focus is primarily on wide angle Landscape, Waterscape, and Cityscape images in brilliant color and natural HDR editing. I shoot with a Nikon D850 DLSR camera and usually my Zeiss 18mm Distagon lens when capturing stunning Landscape and Waterscape images. When out in the City I prefer either my 50mm for street life, or my walk around 24-70mm for the city architecture. I also own a high...
